झारखंड के स्कूलों में चला आज “अंडा अभियान”

भोजन का अधिकार, झारखंड के अंडा अभियान में आज झारखंड के 19 ज़िलों में बच्चों को स्कूल में अंडा खिलाया गया. यह अभियान झारखंड में राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा कानून के तुरंत क्रियान्वन की मांग को लेकर आयोजित किया गया था. यह कानून बच्चों को रोज़ स्कूल या आंगनवाड़ी के माध्यम से पौष्टिक भोजन व हर गर्भवती महिला को 6,000 रुपए के मातृत्व लाभ का अधिकार देता है. साथ ही साथ, इस कानून के अनुसार झारखंड के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के 86 प्रतिशत परिवारों व शहरी क्षेत्रों के 58 प्रतिशत परिवारों को जन वितरण प्रणाली से सस्ता राशन मिलेगा.

Children Served Eggs across Jharkhand in “Anda Abhiyan”

Thousands of children across 19 districts of Jharkhand were served eggs today in their midday meal as part of the Right to Food Campaign’s anda abhiyan, which demanded the immediate implementation of the National Food Security Act. The Act provides not only for a daily nutritious meal for every child (at the local school or anganwadi), but also for maternity entitlements of Rs 6,000 for every pregnant woman. Further, 86 per cent of households in rural Jharkhand and 58 per cent of households in urban Jharkhand are to be given subsidized foodgrains under the Public Distribution System.

मातृत्व हक के बिना कैसे अच्छे दिन!

वर्ष 2001 से 2011 के बीच हुई जनसंख्या वृद्धि के हिसाब से हर साल भारत में लगभग 1.9 करोड़ प्रसव होते हैं, मौजूदा मातृ मृत्यु अनुपात 178 है, जिसके हिसाब से हर साल लगभग 34 हज़ार महिलाएं प्रसव से संबंधित कारणों से अपना जीवन खो देती हैं। 

इतना ही नहीं विश्व बैंक के मुताबिक हर 190 में एक महिला की मृत्यु का कारण मातृत्व से संबंधित जोखिम होता है। इसका मतलब यह है कि हमारे यहां महिलाओं को उनके मौलिक मातृत्व हक नहीं मिल रहे हैं। राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा क़ानून में 30 शब्दों में एक प्रावधान है, जो देश में 39 करोड़ महिलाओं, खासतौर पर असंगठित क्षेत्र में काम करने वाली और अपने घरों को चलाने का बिना पारिश्रमिक वाला श्रम करने वाली महिलाओं को ऐसा हक देता है, जिसके बारे में सरकारें और समाज का रवैया उपेक्षा और भेदभाव से भरपूर रहा है।

Right to Food, Democracy and Social Justice

We the members of the Right to Food campaign, who are gathered here from 15 states across the country for the fifth national convention, express our solidarity with all peoples’ movements and struggles for basic rights, Democracy and Social Justice. We deeply mourn the death of all our comrades who have lost their lives in the various battles for people’s causes including the right to information, against land alienation and anti-poor policies of the state. We are deeply aggrieved by the needless deaths of men, women, transgender people and children because of persisting hunger, malnutrition and lack of health care, of women because of lack of maternal nutrition and care. We also express our sorrow for the death of the thousands of toiling farmers, labouring people who have committed suicide, each year losing their struggle for survival and lives lost as a result of communal and caste violence.

We condemn the fact that 67 years after Independence, a large section of our people are denied their basic rights to food, nutrition, health, education, livelihood and social security, justice and peace.

We condemn the continued discrimination against dalits, minorities, tribals, women, transgender community and disabled. We are deeply concerned with the shrinking democratic spaces for people’s movements and pro-poor policy making.  Even as non-violent, peaceful agitations are being crushed brutally by an increasingly repressive state, we resolve to continue our struggles for the right to food, democracy and social justice. We stand in solidarity with all movements against patriarchy and violence against women and pro-people democratic political forces. We condemn the interference in our sovereign food systems by the WTO mechanisms, FTAs and other international trade agreements and the decision to allow field trials of GM crops in India.

भोजन का अधिकार, लोकतंत्र और सामाजिक न्याय

देश के 15 राज्यों से विभिन्न सामाजिक संगठनों, जनसंगठनों, संस्थाओं और समुदाय के 2000 से ज्यादा लोग जो रोज़ी रोटी अधिकार अभियान के सदस्य के रूप में लोक अधिकारों, लोकतंत्र और सामाजिक न्याय पर केंद्रित पांचवे अधिवेशन में सम्मिलित हुए, सामाजिक समानता, शोषण से मुक्ति, बुनियादी अधिकारों को सुनिश्चित करने और बेहतर समाज की स्थापना के लिए चल रहे सभी अहिंसात्मक जमीनी जनसंघर्षों और आन्दोलनों के प्रति अपनी एकजुटता प्रकट करते हैं।

हम सब, समाज के मसलों और समस्याओं, जैसे सूचना के अधिकार, जवाबदेयता की मांग, भ्रष्टाचार, भूमि अधिग्रहण, श्रमिकों का शोषण करने और वंचित तबकों के अधिकारों का उल्लंघन करने वाली नीतियों की खिलाफत करते हुए अपने जीवन की आहूति देने वाले सभी संघर्षशील साथियों की शहादत को नमन करते हैं।

हम बहुत व्यथित होकर स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के अभाव, कुपोषण, सतत भुखमरी के शिकार होकर मर जाने वाले बच्चों, महिलाओं, पुरुषों और तीसरे लिंग वाले समुदायों के प्रति संवेदना और दुःख व्यक्त करते हैं। हम मानते हैं कि मातृत्व सेवाओं का अभाव महिलाओं का जीवन खत्म कर देता है। इन सबको को बचाया जा सकता है। 

हम उन सभी मेहनतकश हजारों किसानों के प्रति भी श्रृद्धांजलि अर्पित करते हैं, जिन्होंने शोषणकारी नीतियों के खिलाफ अपनी आजीविका को बचने का संघर्ष करते हुए आत्महत्या करना पड़ी, साथ की उन लोगों को भी श्रद्धांजलि, जिन्होंने साम्प्रदायिक और जातिगत हिंसा में अपना जीवन खो दिया।

हम इस बात की निंदा करते हैं कि देश की आजादी के 67 साल बाद भी आबादी को भोजन, पोषण, स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा, आजीविका, सामाजिक सुरक्षा, शांति और सामाजिक न्याय जैसे बुनियादी हक भी उपलब्ध नहीं हैं।
